In a synthesis of understated modernism and experimental tailoring, Penumbra embodies an essential sense of purpose. Not unlike the name itself, the line has an inherent dichotomy; it is at once both elegant and effortlessly cool. With a blend of neutral and muted tones, the color palette compliments the subtlety of each piece.

The collection was derived from its founder’s, Courtney Bennett and Stephanie Giorgio, basic desire for unadorned clothing that hurdle the challenges of day to-night dressing. For more then ten years, the design duo has been unerringly tuned into the fashion industry, each boasting successful careers in marketing, styling and buying at luxury fashion companies. Applying this intimate expertise, they recognized a gap in the marketplace and for this, Penumbra was conceived. Shaped by their endless obsession for the art of fashion and their strong roots in the business driven side of fashion, Bennett and Giorgio created a line of seasonless jersey separates that blur the boundaries of day and evening wear – equally appealing on their own or enhanced by accessories.
