The Spring/Summer 2011 collection heralds a relaunch of Janezic. It symbolizes new beginnings, newfound inspiration, a rediscovery of a dream and a love for celebrating and enhancing the natural beauty and uniqueness of its wearer.
Based in San Francisco, Janezic is the eponymous apparel label by New York native, Michele Janezic. Focusing on enduring design, fabrication, and craftsmanship, the garments are modern, classic and versatile. Janezic endeavors for its wearer to embody authenticity, confidence and elegance, while maintaining and defining their own individuality.
Following a childhood passion, Janezic’s approach to fashion is personal and the label was fortunate during its seasonal debut in 2007. During that year, Lucky Magazine named Janezic “A New Line to Watch,” Daily Candy SF proclaimed it “2007′s Sweetest Thing: Sight” and it was also selected to participate in Gen Art’s Fresh Faces in Fashion annual runway presentation. The label was put on hold in 2008.
