Bonnie Scott, a member of the artist co-op and gallery Space 1026 and NEXUS Foundation for Today’s art, graduated from the University of the Arts in 2006 with a BFA in film and animation. She has shown her intricate, “meditatively obsessive” video work, drawings, sculptures and prints in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Houston, Austin, Palm Springs and San Francisco.
Scott’s most recent work now on exhibition at Sugarcube®, redefines her process of image making. She digitized/transcribed her endeavors into embroidery, calling them “ thread drawing”. The finished pieces are on various fabrics and in frames.
