Terms and Conditions
Sugarcube Inc. offers Gift Certificates for sale at our Philadelphia store and additionally in our on-line shop sugarcube-select.us. Issued Gift Certificates have identification numbers, stated expiration dates, and explicit terms. We, in our sole discretion, may refuse to sell a Gift Certificate to any person for any reason. Sugarcube® also does not represent or warrant that your Gift Certificate will always be accepted.
Sugarcube Gift Certificates are valid when full payment has been received and successfully processed (meaning funds are received by Sugarcube Inc.).
Please treat Sugarcube Gift Certificates ‘like cash’. Gift Certificates will not be replaced or refunded if lost or stolen. Your gift certificate is not transferable and is physically required at the time of purchase.
Sugarcube Gift Certificates have a 6-month expiration date from time of purchase as marked on each certificate. Sugarcube Inc. does not extend expiration dates for any reason, no exceptions.
Sugarcube Gift Certificates must be redeemed through our Philadelphia store. Please note: shipping charges are applied to the amount of each Gift Certificate purchase.
Sugarcube Gift Certificates cannot be returned for a refund or exchanged for cash.
Sugarcube Gift Certificates cannot be used to purchase Sugarcube Gift Certificates.
Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient’s Gift Certificate account and is not transferable. The original 6-month time period applies to unused balances.
Special Terms for Purchased Items
Please note an exception to our usual terms for items purchased by Gift Certificate. If you return an item purchased with a Sugarcube Gift Certificate a modified 14-day return policy applies. A 6-month store credit will be issued from the date of original Gift Certificate purchase. Consecutive returns are not permissible under our 14-day store credit policy across the board.
For transactions exceeding the amount of your Gift Certificate, you must pay for the balance with a credit card or cash.
Compliance with Law
By purchasing Sugarcube Gift Certificates, you are certifying and representing to Sugarcube Inc., Sugarcube.us and Sugarcube-Select.us that the activities in connection with which the Gift Certificate will be used and comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including the Terms and Conditions that govern the Sugarcube.us website. In addition, you agree to defend and indemnify Sugarcube Inc. and its affiliates from and against any claims, expenses or liabilities made against or incurred by any of them in connection with your use of the Gift Certificates or violation of any of these Terms and Conditions.
Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
Your purchase or use of a Sugarcube Gift Certificate constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.
Merchant’s Rights
Sugarcube Inc. reserves the right to refuse a gift certificate as payment for products if there is reasonable doubt about the Gift Certificate’s authenticity. Sugarcube Inc may exert the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Certificate is redeemed at Sugarcube in Philadelphia. All fraud or attempted fraud will be reported immediately with the intent to prosecute with the FBI Internet Fraud Complaint Center at http://www.ic3.gov

We may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting updated or revised Terms and Conditions on this website. Please check this website frequently for any updates or revisions to these Terms and Conditions.
